My Band, Mongolian Heart, has come along way through 16 years of hard work, and perseverance. As a result we have had a very impressive run in the Nepali music industry. However, a couple of years back we disbanded and the news ignited a significant amount of superfluous coverage. The split up itself was a complete surprise to me as I was the last person to be informed. Thereafter I took a sabbatical to contemplate my future. During this time, I visited my family and friends and took time off to live the life that I had been too busy to enjoy earlier.

All this while, music was never far from my life. I made music for my personal satisfaction and wrote songs that I enjoyed singing. In the meantime the speculation about our band’s disbandment had scaled to such staggering height that everyone had their own twisted and bizarre version of the story, each outdoing the other. I held back and watched the spectacle but may be I underestimated the whole ordeal as my silence was taken for granted.
Gradually I saw my friends turn into foes and felt like the entire world was against me. But as the saying goes, dawn awakes after dusk, I emerged a totally new man and took this as a learning experience. The undying love and support from my fans, family and friends helped reinforce faith in myself. I am indebted to everyone for standing by me.

This album is lovingly dedicated to all of you. I am humbled by your tremendous love and support. I am still travelling but no matter where I live I will always be a true Nepali at heart continuing to sing for Nepal as it is my forte.
